What advantages do I have using the Corporate Center?
The Corporate Center provides several advantages for those that wish to purchase items in the United States via the web, phone, catalog, or while you are down in the United States but don’t wish to bring your purchase back with you.
First, we save you money. Lots of it. You don’t have to use a broker or some other expensive means to have your purchase brought into Canada. We charge a nominal fee (cheaper than our competitors if you can find them) to store your purchase for up to two weeks until you can come and pick it up. As well, you will find that the shipping costs within the U.S. to get your purchase to us in the first place is very economical given the transportation and shipping infrastructure in the U.S. Often, you can even get free shipping as part of your purchase.
Second, we increase your selection of items that you access to purchase significantly. Given the size and breadth of the United States, the Corporate Center becomes your portal into many stores and items that you won’t be able to find in Canada.
Third, we are convenient, located within an hour of Ottawa, Kingston, and Cornwall and less than a half kilometre from the border.

If I want to buy something and use your service, how does it work?
1. Register on the Corporate Center website to get your customer number
2. Find what you want to purchase.
3. When filling in the shipping details use your name and customer number followed by the Corporate Center address. So it would look like this:

Should I bring anything when crossing the border?
Of course you will need some recognized identification; most people use either a driver’s license or their passport. You should also bring along a copy of your proof of purchase/receipt for your item(s). Showing your receipt at the border ensures a seamless and very quick passage.
Will I have any problems at the border?
The border patrols on both the U.S. and Canada side of the borders are there for our protection. If you bring the appropriate identification (Driver’s license or Passport) and receipt/proof of purchase of what you are picking up, you will not have a problem at all.
How do I know when my package has arrived?
Just about everything in the United States is shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS and you would most likely have received a tracking number from whomever you purchased from. We have links to all of their websites here to help you to track your packages and know when it has reached Ogdensburg.
We do try to call you at the number you have provided to us when you register once a package has arrived for you. However, given volumes, at times this is hard for us to do and we can’t guarantee that we will. However, if ever in doubt, we can be reached at 315-393-3793 and we’ll be happy to help.
If the place that I am buying from asks for a phone number should I provide mine or the Corporate Center number?
More often than not it is more helpful to you and the people you purchased from to have your number so that they can reach you directly if there are any issues, so best to use your phone number.

What are your hours?
Our hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
As our clients and services expand we are considering extra hours on a seasonal or, perhaps, regular basis. Your feedback on this would be really helpful...both in terms of whether or not extra hours would be useful to you and when (i.e.Saturday morning or Thursday till 8 p.m.). Should I call to let you know that I've ordered something or provide the Corporate Center with the tracking number?
Actually, we'll either call you or send you an email, there's no need for you to contact us to let us know you've ordered something. If you take the time to fill out the delivery or mailing address correctly there won't be any issues and we'll be happy to let you know when it arrives.
Do I always have to pick up my items myself?
The short answer is no, although we do prefer to meet all over our clients at least once and introduce ourselves. However, if you cannot pick up your item yourself you can have someone pick it up on your behalf. What we will need is a signed letter from yourself stating that you will release your packages (please be specific about the packages) to the name of the individual coming to see us. Ideally, if you can email us in advance to let us know and have your friend bring the original letter.
I have forgotten or misplaced my Client ID number?
Please just send us an email with your name and address and we will forward your client ID number back to you.
